Valentine’s Day Gift Guide

Roses are red, violets are blue, I need a Valentines gift but I don’t have a clue…

Oh yes, love is in the air (for some). In just a few days we will be surrounded with hugs, kisses, & Valentines wishes. Christmas and birthdays are already hard enough to choose a gift for! So what do you get the people that you love on this special day?

I went ahead and put together a few things that I thought would make a fun gift based on peoples hobbies, likes, and needs. It ranges from baking to fitness and of course since my favorite color is pink I only added pink items in the “for her” section, BUT these items are also available in other colors. I also kept in mind after Christmas budgets so all items were kept under $50. After all, you don’t need to break the bank to show the one you love that you love them. Enjoy! ❤

Saranghae 5 Step Routine Review

I’ve never really been a person to have a skin care routine. I would always wash my face in the morning, add face cream when I remembered, and let’s be honest…wouldn’t even remove my makeup before bed sometimes!! *cringes* But then aging happened -_-

So as I started getting older (once I turned 25) I began making sure I took more and more care of my skin. For example, actually removing my makeup before bed. I also started making the time to do face masks…which are my absolute favorite!

This year I turned 27 and realized I had to step up my skin care game; in  particular when it came to my face. So I did a little research, on my dear ol’ friend Instagram, and came across the Saranghae 5 step routine. I quickly decided that these Korean products were the skin routine I’d try!

What are the 5 steps you may ask?

1. Saranghae Nourishing & Moisturizing Oil + Foam Cleanser with Truffle Extract & Gold

2. Saranghae Deep Radiance Essence + Serum

3. Saranghae Firm and Lift Cellular Regeneration Cream

4. Saranghae Focus Renewal Eye Cream

5. Saranghae Elemental Essence Mask

When I first did the routine, I automatically fell in love with the face wash! I mean it has REAL GOLD in it!! The serum made my skin feel so fresh and the regeneration cream made it feel so soft. I’m currently waiting another week or two to report my findings on the renewal eye cream, but so far so good.

What are my favorite things about this routine?

One, the smell! I know that is a weird thing to say but the products smell so good. Two, it is so quick to go through! I know a lot of us avoid a skin care routine due to time, but this takes me less than five minutes to complete. Lastly, my skin in the morning. I no longer wake up with greasy skin. Who doesn’t want that?!

So do I recommend this 5 step routine? ABSOLUTELY! Let yourself feel like a unicorn every time you wash your face with gold. Below is more information in case you’d like to find out more about this awesome skin care product.

Ps. This is puppy approved; just ask Olive!
